Ashley was born a month early, weighing in at about 3lbs. She remained in ICU for one month. The hospital informed her parents that Christmas Day was the day that she would need heart operation. Her parents went to the hospital on Christmas Day, they were told by doctors that her closed heart. Ashley has not required any surgery. After spending two months in hospital, she was discharged with 4 5 pounds. Since then, she has been in good health since! Her father's family is English as well as German. Her mother's family originates from Ireland. In 2002, Ashley was first noticed in a commercial to promote her Salon Surprise Barbie Doll. Ashley was subsequently pursued when she was eight years old with the Ford Modeling Agency. As of today Ashley is still working in the print industry. As early as 10 She decided acting was the way she would like to go. Ashley performed in 35 commercials prior to becoming a stage actor. Ashley had shifted her focus to acting. Ashley focused her entire attention into acting, which left no time to model and dancing. Ashley is best known for her portrayal of Hannah Marin in ABC's Pretty Little Liars.
