Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has been a chef and television personality in the United States and an instructor at Institute of Culinary Education. She is the host of Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and also serves as the host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her distinctive spiky blond locks and pumped up personality, provides easy techniques anybody can learn. Chef Burrell worked at New York at top restaurants and studied the Italian culinary traditions and geography. She also competed as Iron Chef America on Food Network. While growing up in the upper reaches of New York area, Chef Burrell found a passion for food and cooking at a young age. The Culinary Institute of America was the catalyst for her passion for restaurant management after she earned an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. I was awed by every minute during my time of The Culinary Institute of America she declares. I couldn't learn or do enough. When I graduated from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and chef Burrell took a full year in Italy studying and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria as well La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star in Tuscany. Her time spent in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate Italian philosophy and culture, and has made an impact on her own culinary perspective. Burrell was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to improve children's lives who are facing challenges. Burrell is also a Juvenile Research Foundation celebrity ambassador which promotes education about the condition known as juvenile diabetes. She has been a frequent to speak at conferences and tours the country to mentor others in her job. Through her culinary adventures, Anne has often said that I am so lucky to be able to share my true passion in life with others.
