Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist currently competing at flyweight of UFC. She is the elder sister of the fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko is who is a Muay Thai kickboxer, began her professional fight career during her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event with a unanimous victory over Suzane Miller. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007 and she also won a bronze medal in 2008 and then a with gold in 2011. The league was dissolved in 2018, Shevchenko was a part of Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina demonstrated her slashing skills by knocking out Nievera by knees. Antonina Shevchenko received a UFC contract after the victory. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modeafferi with a unanimous decision. She then lost her subsequent fight due to a split verdict. Antonina rebounded from her loss to defeat Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the night for this fight. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 over her next three bouts she won over Ariane Lipski while falling to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina suffered a loss to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
